Masterclass Erasmus+ di flauto con il M° Leon Berendse

Il Conservatorio di Bologna ospiterà la masterclass Erasmus+ del maestro Leon Berendse docente della Fontys University Apllied Science di Tilburg, nei seguenti giorni e orari:

Leon Berendse started playing the flute at the age of ten. He studied with Rien de Reede and Paul Verhey at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and received the Nicolai price for an outstanding final recital. He continued his studies with Geoffrey Gilbert in Florida and took part in masterclasses by Trevor Wye and William Bennett. Leon is solo-flautist of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
He is also a member of the Amsterdam Consort. He collaborated on many recordings with the previously mentioned orchestra's and the former Combattimento Consort Amsterdam. As a soloist he performed in several European countries, but also in the United States, Brazil, Irak, South-Africa, Japan, Colombia and Argentina.
In June 2017 he will perform Peteris Vasks fluteconcerto in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Leon is active as a conductor and teaches at the Fontys Conservatory.
He gave masterclasses in Portugal, Italy, Japan, Colombia and Russia, and was recently invited to give a masterclass at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Berendse is one of the teachers at the 'Grolloo Flute sessions' a summerschool for promising flute-students, together with Mattias Ziegler, Wissam Boustany and Ian Clarke.
