SIMONLUCA LAITEMPERGHER
Electronic Composition for Media Arts

Simonluca Laitempergher is a composer, sound designer, and sound artist. His work encompasses personal projects, primarily focusing on electronic and mixed compositions, as well as collaborations with artists in the realms of video art, cinema, and installation.
The movies and media art works on which he has collaborated have been featured and recognized in some of the most prestigious national and international contexts and festivals. Notable appearances include the Berlinale with "The Properties of Metals" (2023), the Venice International Film Festival with "Il Varco" (2019), the European Film Awards with both "Il Varco" (2020) and "Flowers Blooming in Our Throats" (2021), IDFA with "Roosenberg" (2018), IFFR with "Flowers Blooming in Our Throats" (2021) and “Yours, “ (2024), Roma Film Fest with "Infinito" (2022), and Vision du Reel with "Every Confession Oeuvre" (2016) and "Stories of Half-Sleep" (2018).

 
 

FRANCESCO CANAVESE
Music Technologies (basic and advanced)

Embarking on his musical journey in 1995 as a guitarist, Francesco Canavese has cultivated a rich career marked by collaborations and self-initiated projects, exploring an extensive variety of genres. Since 2000, he worked with the production staff at Tempo Reale in Florence (founded by Luciano Berio), collaborating with esteemed international composers. Working in international contexts and theaters of significance, he has also engaged in various discographic experiences within the realm of experimental music. He also worked as a music technology specialist for Tempo Reale, contributing to various discographic, installative and multimedia projects.
Starting in 2008, he taught music technology at the Conservatory of Bologna, assuming a full-time role in 2021/22.

 
 

ENRICO COSIMI
Analog and digital Synthesis (basic and advanced)

Enrico Cosimi has been working since 1980 for Ensoniq, E-Mu Systems, Kurzweil, Linn, Moog, and others. He is currently involved in user interface layout, analog sequencer capabilities, and analog channel voice configuring for Grp Synthesizers. Since the 2000s, he has taught Electronic Music and techniques of Electronic Music Production at the University of Rome-Tor Vergata and the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome. Starting in 2021, he assumed a full-time role at Conservatory G.B. Martini in Bologna.

 
 

AURELIO ZARRELLI
Scoring/Arrangement

Aurelio Zarrelli, the dean of the Conservatory of Bologna, is a distinguished pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestra conductor.
In his roles as an arranger and orchestra conductor, he has participated in numerous collaborations spanning contemporary, pop, and jazz music. His portfolio includes several recordings for the Italian National Radio (RAI) and the Mexican Radio UNAM, as well as live performances of silent film soundtracks for the Cineteca di Bologna. Furthermore, he boasts various experiences as a composer and music supervisor in film and television projects. His orchestral works have been performed both nationally and internationally, and his music is published by Bixio, BMG-Ricordi, and Egea.
